Bass Valley Primary School is a rural school situated between the Bass Highway and the small Coastal town of Corinella, on the land of the Bunurong/Boonwurrung people.

Communication between home and school is seen as essential at Bass Valley Primary School. To keep families up to date with school activities, a school newsletter is published each week. In addition to this, the school utilises a number of platforms for various communication purposes.

Classroom teachers use the App Seesaw to send photos, videos and notes about student learning directly to families. You are able to communicate directly with teachers, who will endeavour to respond to messages in a timely manner (within school hours). Bass Valley Primary School uses the Compass learning platform for families to access academic reports, attendance data and other important school information. Families can log in to Compass and view their child’s continuing progress all year round. You can download the free app called “Compass School Manager” for your mobile devices.

The BVPS Facebook page keeps you in the loop about daily events and announcements. We endeavour to keep this page active with relevant events and information regarding our school. Please note however that Facebook is not recommended for children under the age of 13 and students will not be permitted to access Facebook at school.
