Bass Valley Primary School is a rural school situated between the Bass Highway and the small Coastal town of Corinella, on the land of the Bunurong/Boonwurrung people.
Bass Valley Primary School is committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all students, staff and members of our community. Our school recognises the importance of the partnership between our school and parents and carers to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing. We share a commitment to, and a responsibility for, creating an inclusive and safe school environment for our students, enabling individuals to develop their potential as lifelong learners and active members of the community in a changing world.
Our school is a place to be proud of because:
We value inclusive, safe and orderly learning environments where all students can strive to be their best.
We work with each other to be safe in our school community. We are safe with our own bodies and minds, those of others and our school environment.
We show kindness and respect to ourselves, others and our school environment. We use our manners and show consideration as we work together at school and in the community.
We encourage students to think critically and creatively, persist in the face of challenges and learn from mis- takes. We use strategies to solve problems and ask for help when we need it.
